We deliver classes throughout West Lothian and the west of Edinburgh, at leisure centres, workplaces and health clubs.

Our aim is to create a challenging class, improving your posture and tone, and to make you more aware of your alignment. This can in turn reduce the effects of back problems.

The majority of our classes are streamed for beginner, improver and intermediate levels and are run with small numbers so that you can get the most from your Hanson Pilates experience.

The Hanson Pilates team is made up of highly qualified and experienced instructors, led by Debbie who is a national trainer / assessor.

I offer classes in Dalkeith (5.45pm) and Dunbar (7.20pm, 8.20pm) on Monday evenings, North Berwick on Tuesday mornings (9am, 10am, 11.15am) and Wednesday evenings (6.30pm, 7.30pm), Tranent on Tuesday afternoons (1-2pm, 2-3pm), Roslin (6.30pm) and Gorebridge (8-9pm) on Thursday evenings and in Penicuik (6-7pm) on Friday evenings.

I can also offer one-to-one tuition for anyone who doesn't feel happy coming to a class or has specific needs, for example Pilates in Pregnancy and those with limited mobility.

Samantha will be your Pilates instructor. As well as a Personal Trainer she is an experienced and fully qualified Pilates instructor and teaches both Pilates classes and one to one sessions.

She has a wealth of experience teaching beginners and clients who are rehabilitating after an injury or illness. Samantha's classes focus on posture and alignment as well as strengthening your core muscles.

The Beginners class is suitable for everyone regardless of age or fitness levels. It is beneficial for people who have back problems or recovering from injury.

Pilates For Runners keeps the fundamentals of Pilates and layers in stretching and strengthening the muscles which are overused and tight from running. Leaving you feeling refreshed and energized.

Booking in advance is essential as numbers are limited.

Realistic Pilates, as the name suggests is suitable for real people with real bodies and real fitness levels or lack of!

All our teachers are fully qualified and spend time teaching and coaching you rather than merely demonstrating the moves which can often be initmidating.

The maximum number per class is 10 and classes are booked in blocks costing £6.00 per class.

We will offer you an Induction Class before joining any of our six classes to ensure you get the maximum benefit from your class. Or a private 1-1 session if you prefer. Please call and request an Info Pack or simply to have a chat to see if this modified approach will suit YOU.
